Let’s welcome Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin to Dinton Pastures!

The Library Service team is bringing its popular, interactive Storytime to Dinton Activity Centre every first and third Tuesday of the month, from 11am to 11.30am. The first session will be on 17 January.

The Storytime sessions at Dinton will be hosted by Tony Knight, a platform announcer at Wokingham Station who was famous with commuters for his poetry readings. He will be bringing along the green poetry folder that he used on the platform and A A Milne’s book Winnie-the-Pooh: The Complete Collection of Stories and Poems.

Tony’s heart-warming stories and poems will be followed by simple craft or colouring activities led by our Library Service team for children to take home their creativity and imagination.

Entrance is free and no booking is needed. Just pop into The Coffee Deck at Dinton Activity Centre, grab a seat and have a great time with your child!

The Library Storytime sessions are generally designed for young children aged two to five, providing them with a fun and enjoyable introduction to books and libraries.
