SUMMARY:Bubble Planet Experience London
DESCRIPTION:Have you heard all the hype about the Bubble Planet Experience in London?  Want to know what it’s really like?  Master Builders Club owner and mum Kate visited recently and has kindly shared her review of Bubble Planet. \nBubble Planet London Review\nThe immersive play experience was a sensory explosion of ball pits\, bubbles\, VR\, light shows\, interactive games and illusions. \n \nThere are 11 themed rooms that appearl to the five senses (finishing with mochi and bubble waffles). \n\n\n \nTop Tip  – we arrived half an hour before our Bubble Planet time slot and found a little haven just around the corner.  Canada Gardens is a lovely setting for a coffee stop with fountains and some super plush apartments to swoon over. \n \nWe travelled from Reading to London Paddingon by train then took two tubes to Wembley Park.  The exit out of Wembley Park station is a good photo opportunity with the stadium behind you.  Bubble Planet is then an 8 minute walk from Wembley Park Station. \n \nIt’s advertised as a 60-90 minutes experience but we lost 2 hours in there having fun. \nIn The Area\nBox Park is just around the corner with a huge choice of street eats and treats.  There are also three play parks within Wembley Park\, Pop Golf\, VR experience and the London Designer Outlet Village so you can make a day of it.  They also have pop up events and activities for children throughout the year along with artisan markets and a cinema\, not forgetting Wembley itself! \n \n Is Bubble Planet Experience London Still On?\nThe Bubble Planet Experience in London is still running in 2026 with tickets released for next 3 months.  Last check was dates to end of March 2026 available to book. \nBUBBLE PLANET LONDON TICKETS\n\nMonday to Thursday from 10 am to 8:00 pm (last session at 7:00 pm)\nTuesday closed\nFriday from 10 am to 9:00 pm (last session at 8:00 pm)\nSaturday from 9 am to 9:00 pm (last session at 8:00 pm)\nSunday from 10 am to 8:00 pm (last session at 7:00 pm)\n\n \nHow Long is the Bubble Planet London Experience ?\nDuration: approx. 60-90 minutes \n Age: all ages welcome. SUMMARY:Dinosaurs Are Forever at Blenheim Palace
DESCRIPTION:Dinosaurs set to storm Blenheim Palace this summer with first exhibition of its kind  \nBlenheim Palace has teamed up with Future Fossils to present Dinosaurs Are Forever\, a world-class exhibition from 11th August to 1st November 2026\, showcasing full-scale dinosaur sculptures created by artist Jay Jay Burridge. \nAdmission to the Dinosaurs Are Forever exhibition will be included with any valid Blenheim Palace ticket\, including Park & Gardens Day Ticket\, Palace\, Park & Gardens Pass\, and the Palace & Play Annual Pass. \n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nView this post on Instagram\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nA post shared by Claire Winlow (@redkitedaysoxfordshire) \n\n\n \nThe reimagined Megalosaurus skeletons will be located in the grounds of the historic UNESCO World Heritage Site in Oxfordshire\, the birthplace of dinosaurs. \nVisitors can immerse themselves in the entirely unique exhibition\, the first of its kind at Britain’s Greatest Palace\, which celebrates the local discovery of the first ever named dinosaur\, Megalosaurus\, through an outdoor sculptural experience that combines cutting-edge materials and technology with the traditions of hand-crafted sculpture. \nTwo centuries ago\, just outside Blenheim Palace in the village of Stonesfield\, the very first named dinosaur\, Megalosaurus\, was discovered and eighteen years later\, in 1824\, Megalosaurus was grouped with Iguanodon and Hylaeosaurus and collectively named ‘Dinosaurs’ as we know them today. By 1852\, the fascination with dinosaurs swept the globe. \nThe fossil remains of Megalosaurus are now on display at the Museum of Natural History\, University of Oxford. \nFabricated by a network of artisans and advanced manufacturing specialists\, using the same tools\, materials and processes found in high-performance motorsport\, engineering and aerospace\, the sculptures in the exhibition\, in partnership with the Museum of Natural History\, University of Oxford\, will bring together decades of artistic exploration centred on dinosaurs\, storytelling and immersive art. \nJay Jay Burridge is a British artist\, designer\, author and former BBC presenter. He first gained recognition for large-scale toy-inspired sculptures before being recruited by the BBC to write and present the acclaimed children’s art programme SMart. His career has since taken him across art\, fashion\, design and publishing\, including a collaboration with Jamie Oliver\, a Beverly Hills solo exhibition with Lazarides Gallery\, and the internationally published six-book adventure series The World of Supersaurs. \nHeather Carter\, visitor attraction managing director at Blenheim Palace\, said: “We are so excited to bring our visitors a brand new experience this summer\, and it’s a real first for Blenheim Palace. It’s a subject that appeals to all ages and interests\, and not many people know about the first ever named dinosaur being discovered here. Dinosaurs are Forever shines a light on the fascinating discovery of these prehistoric creatures right on our doorstep. \n“Jay Jay is massively talented; the scale and vibrancy of these sculptures are going to really stand out against the backdrop of Blenheim Palace\, so this outdoor exhibition is one not to be missed.” \n \nJay Jay Burridge commented: “Until now\, these dinosaurs existed only in my imagination. These sculptures connect the birthplace of dinosaurs with the technologies shaping our future. If Megalosaurus began our understanding of ancient life\, the sculptures imagine where the modern world might go next. This project takes the first dinosaur and rebuilds it through the lens of modern engineering\, asking not what dinosaurs were\, but what they could become.”

SUMMARY:Owls by Moonlight at Hawk Conservancy Trust
DESCRIPTION:As night falls\, you’ll experience Hawk Conservancy mystical owls and witness their graceful\, silent flights in and out of the darkness over our Savannah Arena and amongst mysterious woodland. \nSaturdays from 26th Sep to 24th October 2026 \nBefore the flying displays\, there will be chance to explore parts of our grounds to meet some of the other owls in our care\, where we’ll give you an insight to some of the conservation and research projects that we undertake with British owls. \nComplete your evening out with some delicious food and drink before meeting our owls! Feathers Restaurant will be serving a delicious menu to keep you feeling warm throughout the evening. \nThe evening will include two different flying displays in our Woodland and Savannah Arenas. These evenings are very popular\, so book early. Come along wrapped up warm\, and step out into the darkness with our owls. \nWinter Woodland Lights at Hawk Conservancy Trust Review 2024\n\nIf you are missing the Christmas lights already then head down to see Winter Woodland Lights at the Hawk Conservancy Trust near Andover! Part light trail and part bird of prey show\, this event runs until the end of January and is a truly unique experience for all the family. \n\n On arrival at 6pm we were directed through the centre to begin the light trail. There is a restaurant on site where you can pick up something to eat or a hot drink to take with you on the trail. This is also where the toilets are so get the kids in there before you set off!! \n We then headed off to follow the light trail which wound its way past the aviaries of the inhabitants of the centre. Lots of the birds of prey were still out and visible so we were able to enjoy them as well as the beautiful lights. We particularly loved the huge wings that you can take a picture with and the nesting boxes that lit up and played the call of the bird of prey that would nest there. \n\n The trail takes about twenty minutes and leads you to the arena where the show takes place. As you enter you’ll notice some perches dotted around – the steward advised us to sit near one of them to get a great view of the birds during the show. \n The show itself was spectacular. It felt like being immersed in a nature documentary. The show takes you around the world to different woodland habitats and its residents. The tress are lit up in spectacular ways throughout but it was the birds of prey that stole the show. It was a truly unique experience to sit in a dark woodland and watch an owl soar silently over your head. \n\n For me and my son this was a once in a lifetime experience\, and one we will never forget. All the proceeds from the event go to support the birds of prey at the centre and birds of prey around the world. There are still some tickets available but act fast if you’d like to go along as I think this will be a sell out! \n \n\n

It started raining on the way there\, so we were a little unprepared only wearing trainers rather than wellies\, but that didn’t let it stop our fun. \n \nWe squelched about in the pumpkin patch\, pushing our wheelbarrow along the lines of the assorted pumpkins. Getting a few photos with their photo props and trying to choose which ones to bring home. \n \nAfter getting a bit cold and wet\, we took a welcome shelter inside the cafe. I had to have their special “Pumpkin Spice” ice cream\, which was actually amazing. Really fragrant with spice. The girls got an ice cream and tub of crisps\, and we went outside to see the cafe’s spooky tipi tent. \nThe tipi was decorated with all halloween bunting\, pretty lights\, and plenty of sheletons and pumpkins. \nOne of my all-time favourite shop “Vintage Angel” is in the cafe\, so after our treats\, we went to look to see if they had some new autumn goodies. \n \n \nFind all the places to go pumpkin picking in Cheshire \n\n\n \n

SUMMARY:The Wild Space at Far Peak Campsite
DESCRIPTION:The amazing play and creativity space from The Wild Things continues through October at Far Peak Camping & Wellness  in the Cotswolds\, Northleach and over October half term there will also be a Halloween Trail. \nFocused at preschoolers during the week and then reimagined at weekends especially for children aged 6–11 (though younger and older siblings are always very welcome)\, The Wild Space is a place to build\, make\, invent\, create and explore. \n \nAt a Wild Things’ play session children are encouraged to be curious and use their imaginations with non-competitive activities and pursuits\, creative crafting with natural materials\, being outdoors and enjoying the huge wellness benefits to being playful and imaginative. Advocating ‘soft skills’ building by making things and learning through trying something out and interacting with other children\, whilst having fun and being silly without too much adult direction\, is key to The Wild Things ethos. \n \nYou’ll find: \n\nCreative making stations\nLoose parts play\nGiant junk construction\n Sensory play\n Imaginative challenges and prompts\nPlenty of space to follow your own ideas\n\nDrop in for half an hour or stay for 4 hours. There are no classes to keep up with and no right way to join in. Just creativity\, curiosity and plenty of room for imagination. \nThe award-winning\, Cotswolds-based children’s play and creativity CIC\, The Wild Things October residency is located in a barn adjacent to the Roots + Seeds dining hub\, a great spot forlunch! \nOpen from 10am – 2.00pm or 4pm on 31st October. £6 per session per child 6 -11 yrs\, siblings £4.50\, under s’s free.  Just turn up and pay on the door. \n \nThe Wild Space Review\nI was the one who didn’t want to leave… actually no\, that’s a lie. It was absolutely my 9-year-old. \nWe had the most wonderfully chilled afternoon at The Wild Space\, a brand new play and creativity space from The Wild Things tucked in the grounds of Far Peak Campsite near Northleach. If you’ve got teens you can send them off to the Far Peak Climbingwall as it’s right by The Wild Space. \n\nI’ll be honest\, my son is very much in his screen era so I went in with low expectations. I was fully prepared to bribe him with ice cream within the hour. Instead I ended up literally dragging him home. \nSet in a gorgeous open barn with a lovely breeze drifting through\, there’s so much to get stuck into: \n Loose parts play \n Giant junk construction \n Sensory play \n Imaginative challenges & prompts \nMy son built an epic ball run and spent ages tweaking and experimenting to get it just right. The craft chop saw was a huge hit (for both of us\, not gonna lie) and the cool paint pens and acrylic markers are a proper step up from those sad dried out felt tips you usually find at craft sessions! \n\nWe got to meet Liz\, one of the founders\, who is just lovely. Pink overalls\, big smile\, and 20 years of experience and an educational consultant in play work and youth work. There’s real thought behind the fun here. It’s a non-competitive space that lets children just be\, building soft skills and soaking up the genuine wellbeing benefits of creativity and play. \n\nWild Space is right next door to Roots + Seeds Café Kitchen where we had the most delicious lunch. \n Open 10am to 2.00pm or 4pm depending on the date \n £6 per child (6-11yrs) | Siblings £4.50 | Under 2’s free \n No booking needed\, just turn up and pay on the door \n\nWeekdays are tailored to pre-schoolers\, weekends for 6-11s (though plenty for little ones too).

PRE-BOOKED IS £5 PER CAR\, ON THE NIGHT IT IS £15 PER CAR \nThe Magical Woodland Review from previous visit\nWe were invited to come along to experience the 15 acre Spooky Light Trail in the Cheshire Woodland at Blakemere village. \n \nThis Halloween Light Trail definitely exeeded my expectations. Having been to the Christmas Lights at Blakemere I was expecting the same with a couple of spooky decorations. But my word it was a completely different evening all together. \n \nFilled with lights\, spooky decorations\, errie music and voices and some amazing live characters such as Wednesday Adam\, a Crazy Scientist\, Dinosaurs\, Ghostbusters and Hocus Pocus. \n \nThe light installations were fantastic and as I always find at Blakemere they are always completely surrounding you. As you meander this way and that through the woodland you can see lights infront and behind you so your whole viewpoint is full of different lights. \n\n\n \nThe Halloween decorations were so impressive. There was a whole area dedicated to spiders and webs. There are plenty of skeletons\, pumpkins and ghost but also more suprising themes including walking through the Jurassic World gates into a dinosaur compound and a team of superheros with superman & spider man and all the marvel characters. \n \nWhat really stood out for us was the live actors around the woodland. My daughter absolutely loved the mad scientist and he even had me laughing. Wednesday Adams was also fabulous\, giving us a deathly stare and staying in character so well when talking and interacting with people. Winifred sauders from Hocus Pocus was milling around the food stalls and make my daughter do a witch dance which again had her belly laughing. \nWith unlimited opportunities to re explore your favourite areas you can stay for as long as you like! We really took advantage of this and spent 2 hours walking around the light trail and enjoying some treats at the end. \nTalking of treats\, the food village was nice to find at the end of the trail. There was a good choice of food including burgers\, hot dogs\, chips and pizza\, waffles or a stick loaded with marshmallows to toast on the open firepits in the centre of the food village. Hot and cold drinks were also available. \n \nThe path was nice and dry so trainers were fine. Its also very suitable for pushchairs. The route is about 1 mile long. \nIt was such a good feeling walking back to car having spent a lovely fun evening. Find all the best Halloween events in Cheshire 2026
