House of Fun offers multi-activity camps including cookery, sports and arts & crafts for 5-13 year olds during every school holiday, with sites in Oxford, Abingdon and this Easter launching a brand-new Multi-Activity Camp at the iconic Didcot Railway Centre
Set within Didcot Railway Centre’s 21-acre site, the base camp each day will be inside a vintage railway carriage, creating an unforgettable experience for every child. Each day will be packed with a variety of exciting, hands-on activities, including:
Arts & Crafts – Get creative with railway-themed projects
LEGO Challenges – Build and engineer with our epic iBrick kits
Active Sessions – Outdoor games and adventures across the site
Steam Day Special – Wednesday 9th April
This day will be extra magical. As part of Didcot Railway Centre’s Steam Day, children will have the exclusive opportunity to ride a real working steam train, see the mighty engines up close, and explore the historic signalling centre.
Discovery Day Special – Thursday 10th & Friday 11th April
As part of Didcot Railway Centre’s Discovery Days, children will have the chance to explore the engines up close, step inside the signalling centre, and learn all about how the railways work. A true hands-on experience for curious minds.
With vast outdoor space to explore, hands-on experiences with real steam engines, and a perfect blend of creativity, fun, and discovery, this camp is set to be one of the most exciting yet.
