Pebble Brook Community Cafe is run by the students of Pebble Brook School and the aim of the cafe is to provide work experience for young adults with SEN.
The cafe offers food and drink to the community at a very affordable price, as well as offering free school meals during the school holidays. They also have a community fridge which is accessible to anyone who needs support.
Not only are the initiatives of the cafe wonderful, and will help many students gain experience to help them with their futures, but they offer lots of yummy breakfast and lunch options at really affordable price. And let’s be honest, that’s a huge help in the current climate!
They have a lovely little play area set up with toys and books so my kids always love to visit. And the students are friendly and helpful, you never wait long for your food and drink and it is always delivered with a smile!
The breakfasts are lovely portions and really yummy! And they often have homemade cake which is always a winner.
The cafe is open from 9am – 3pm and is based in the Healthy Living Centre in Walton Court. Which also means you have the Walton Court play area right outside and can let the kids have a run around after you’ve finished your cafe trip!
