Snakes & Ladders in Abingdon is one of the mega sized soft play centres in Oxfordshire. Packed with lots of equipment to climb on, it can definitely keep your little ones happy for several hours. It can get pretty busy on a wet weekend or during the school holidays so be prepared for noise and chaos, which is exactly what my two boys love.
Snakes & Ladders for Under 5s
For the under 5s there is oodles of space and things to do. There are lots of low level climbing areas, ball pools, slides and soft shapes to clamber over. As well as this and a couple of dolphin swings, there are also trucks to push along and a play house for imaginative play.
Snakes & Ladders for Over 5s
Spread over three levels, the apparatus is one of the largest of the many soft play centres in the area. Climb up through the levels, along roped areas and enjoy the great slides to descend. My kids just love to let loose and run until they drop. There are also ball pools and a small football area.
Discovery Zone
Kids can challenge their brain too in the discovery zone. Can you find out how to unlock the treasure chest or find the right brick to push to unlock the gate?
Snacks & Ladders Facilities
There is plenty of seating at Snakes and Ladders and if you’re lucky you’ll be able to nab a soft comfortable sofa to enjoy your cup of coffee at. The café provides a range of hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks. Outside there’s usually enough parking too so you can just rock up and have fun.
